โExcellent hotel, nothing to complain about. Stayed here to go to scafell pike which was around 25 minutes drive away. Also a beach around 10 minutes drive away. Hotel has a large car park, great outdoor space to sit as well.
Only down side was we went to pool room and it was locked, got the staff to open it and got change for the table from the bar. Just as we were going to start playing noticed one cue was broken in half and the other the tip was missing. Dart board not in the best condition....

โNice place to stay. Coffee shop not far away and walkable - very nice. Need a car as narrow lanes to get to and no footpaths. Service at breakfast on the 1st morning was slow but that was due to the young girl serving. Not there when we arrived and waited 10 minutes before she appeared. Left dirty dishes on tables when she could have easily removed when bringing other dishes etc...She was friendly enough. 2nd morning, totally different service. Lady on duty was attentive...

I was a little disappointed to see Haigh Whisky is no longer served. When we first stayed here, Barry introduced me to Haigh cocktails.
We will revisit when the hotel refurbishment is complete. โ
โA beautiful family run hotel. Great large meals and a nice bar. Friendly staff and nice getting to know some of the locals. This place had a gorgeous garden and this was done by the owner Paul. We loved our 2 night stay and the breakfast was awesome. Paul.was a great host abdceven took for a drive to show us the local attractions. โ
โOn arrival we were greeted with a bottle of wine biscuits and a bottle of milk which was a lovely touch. It is a lovely place to stay and would have no problem booking again.โ
โLovely clean and comfortable room. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff member. Well equipped with plenty of power points and extras for a pleasant stay. Would happily book again. โ
