Xelena Hotel & Suites
Hotel has great views. It is about a 1.5 mile walk to town. this was fine for us but may not be for everyone. The food in the hotel was excellent, and they packed us a great lunch for one of our tours.

Esplendor by Wyndham El Calafate
Lovely property. Only issue was chorus of dogs barking at night( Argentina thing). Get a fan and earplugs... but overall nice place

Hotel Lar Aike
Very pleasant place, albeit a little far from downtown if you don’t have a car. However, taxis are less than 4 USD. The knobs have horrible keyholes hard to operate. They seem designed in the XIX century
