"Amazing place, incredible service and wonderful staff. Not a typical hotel stay. It’s remote and on its own incredible property which makes it special. The staff is always available for your needs, the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and food was delicious. Extremely satisfied with my stay. "

"The resort was clean, pools and bars were nice, it wasn’t too packed, and the resort was always clean. The food was okay. I recommend the Tiki Taco and monkey bar as the best places to eat. The rest of the food is buffets besides 2 places and a buffet wasn’t wanting special. Would go again!"
"Our stay at Condovac was very nice for the most part. First off, the staff was very kind and helpful with everything. From the reception to food service and hotel cleanliness, the staff was the best. Maybe due to it being low season, there were just a few things we would have like to have seen more of around the resort itself, like more food choices and activities, especially for kids, but for us the vacation was about relaxing with family and we were able to do just that. Thank you for your hospitality."
"I am writing to report a significantly misleading and disappointing experience at CC Papagayo, which ultimately caused us to leave the property and transfer to another hotel.
The hotel listing advertised multiple amenities and experiences that were either unavailable or materially different from what was represented. Upon arrival, we found that only one of the two advertised restaurants was operational. Additionally, the live music and entertainment promoted in the listing was entirely nonexistent during our stay.
The beachfront experience was also substantially misrepresented. The property was advertised as being directly on a desirable beach; however, the actual beach area was rocky/gravel-based and did not resemble the appearance or experience suggested in the listing photos and description. There were also no beach chairs or towels available, which further diminished the advertised beach experience.
Another major issue involved the outdoor dining and beach environment. There were numerous large iguanas roaming the property that repeatedly approached and chased guests in attempts to obtain food, creating an uncomfortable and, at times, intimidating experience that negatively affected our ability to comfortably enjoy the premises.
Additionally, the overall atmosphere and amenities available onsite were far below expectations based on the listing, price, and marketing materials. The combination of unavailable amenities, misleading representations regarding the beach and"
"Suitree is certainly a special experience with 360 views from tree house and thus lived up to expectations completely. The resort has a great natural feel to it but with construction of new tree houses underway during daytime, the noise spoils the peace and tranquility somewhat.
The dining experience had a few issues such as slow delivery (breakfast with a tour arranged at 07:30 took over 40 minutes (and we were the only dinners), lack of fruit unless paid for extra plate and yet Costa Rica had fruit everywhere with other hotels fully including plentiful fruit & juices within their breakfasts. Coffee other than standard black is extra and in a 16 day trip this was the only example of paying for coffee. Whilst we had a dietary requirement (no tomato due allergy) and this was advised well in advance and on the day of order, the first day main course came covered in tomato after a long wait. Overall food quality was very good and made a good selection of wines albeit pricey.
ATV tour locally was good and Giavanni was very attentive. Not much else to do in resort but lie by the pool though as there was no gym, or Yoga which we had hoped for (but were told it could be provided for $90!). Coco beach isn’t far away but the tree house experience is wonderful for a day or two so why head to a beach with these views?
Checkout took an age due lots of confusion with charges on our I’ll which was resolved through a manual process. Overall a wonderful birthday to remember!"
"Couldn’t recommend Hotel Bosque del Mar enough if you’re looking for a more private, quiet style of stay. It’s the perfect mix of jungle and beach access. The beach is beautiful, clean, and feels very private.
One of the coolest parts of staying here was the wildlife — howler monkeys hanging out in the trees, iguanas everywhere, and the whole atmosphere truly feels like you’re staying right in the jungle while still being steps from the beach.
The service here is truly exceptional. From beachside service, poolside service, and room service to helping arrange transportation and activities, the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay stress-free and relaxing. They also offer rental kayaks and paddle boards, which made the experience even more fun and convenient.
Everyone here — from the front desk staff to maintenance — was incredibly polite, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Carlos was especially excellent: attentive, kind, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed. He truly made our experience even better.
The property is extremely well kept and maintained daily. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast (which says a lot because I’m a huge breakfast foodie). The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed with a relaxing aesthetic.
Pure tranquility from start to finish. We’ll absolutely be staying here again!"
