โWhat a wonderful place! Very friendly service by Dole! Yummy home-made breakfasts! Quiet at night with quality beds and bedding! Sparkling clean bathroom. Huge bedrooms. Central location within 2 minutes walk to York Beach and Harbor. Host freely shared information about the surrounding area, including restaurants, beaches, parking, directions, etc. We absolutely enjoyed staying here, and over the years, we have stayed in many lodgings -- and this trumps them all! We intend to return!โ
โWe are in our 60s and remember the old Motel 6. We were expecting kind of trashy but it was not at all. No breakfast but that was ok. It was the cheapest motel around. โ
โI give it 5 stars for the price. It had exactly what we needed which was 2 comfy beds, hot shower, and quiet. We stayed in side by the pool which was closed for maintenanceโ
โThis motel was the best and nicest clean and spacius room right next to the ocean. Cedar and her husband are the owners and are the nicest people. My husband and I were asking Cedar if there was a more scenic way back home when we leave rather than the highway. She told us and was so nice to even text me the directions herself. I felt like I knew her all my life. Definitely recommend staying here. โ
โI liked the wild life that went by to watch and the quietness. As well as staffs pleasantness and helpfulness. My daughter and I enjoy our stays there โ
โThe rooms are not modern, but they are clean and comfortable. Location, location, location. Shops and restaurants all within walking distance. (Although some shops only opened on the weekend after Labor Day). Beach is directly across the street. Heated pool was a plus. Planning to return next year. โ
