6/10 Okay

The staff and the facilities were fine. My issue is that the day I arrived I was charged for one nights stay, despite the fact I had made the reservation and paid for it through Expedia. I brought this to the attention of the desk staff and was told that the charge by the hotel should not have been made and it would be cleared from pending status on my credit card in a few days. It has now been six days since my stay at the hotel and my credit card still shows pending status. I’m losing confidence that this issue will be cleared without more input from me.

This is one of the smaller Marriotts we have stayed at. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast area was a bit small. We would book again.

Liked: Cleanliness
Hotel was within a five minute drive of the Gaffer District and Corning Museum of Glass. Room was clean and well-maintained. Close to a few chain restaurants and a Starbucks, which was helpful. The breakfast area was small and due to no fault of the hotel, overtaken by a large family group that dominated the food. We were unable to have any type of breakfast on both mornings we were there. Otherwise, decent experience.
