"Quick snowboarding trip, this was an awesome spot. Quiet, cute, had everything we needed. They converted connecting hotel rooms to a sleeping area with separate living room and kitchen. Perfect with kids. Great little bfast in the morning. Limited gluten free options, but they had eggs and oatmeal."
"For the value this is a clean place to stay. The pros are that it was clean, and pet friendly.
The cons: I walked in, and the smell of fabuloso about knocked me over. I had to clean that up with some natural cleaners I had, and air it out for hours on I even be able to breathe.
If you’re sensitive to toxins, just a warning. For such a beautiful place in the mountains, and nature, I would have hoped for a scent free environment free of parabens.
Plug on the tub was broken, so water wouldn’t stay in. Also, the dead bolt had been removed, that kind of freaked me out as a solo traveler.
The property was pretty run down, but it looked like it was for sale, so I guess that’s why there was no staff in the main building.
There is a phone number in case you have questions, but other than that no one on the premises.
There was what looked like an apartment upstairs, and it sounded like someone was nailing art to the walls or remodeling literally until 2-3 am.
I didn’t sleep very well, but again, for the money, if you need a place to crash, and you’re not picky, this will do.
Would have been 5 stars all around with these things fixed.
Maybe next time! "
"The staffwas courteous and efficient. The rooms were comfortable. The hot tub was out of service. Was a bit of a disappointing we were charged a $25 resort fee but had nothing to show for this fee. No instructions on how to operate the tv.."
"Reliability is the middle name of this hotel; fair price , easy parking, fast check-in, staff on sight, clean rooms, comfortable beds, good plumbing, good continental breakfast, and not far from the surrounding PS action. Alpine Inn is a basic hotel that truly delivers to the guest(s) what it has to offer. That’s why I’ve returned to this hotel. "
