The staff was as good as they could be with the conditions they have to deal with. They tried to be accommodating but it wasn't good enough. We booked two non-smoking rooms and asked for them to be next to each other. They were on separate floors and one was a smoking room, which smelled horrible. The carpets are dingy and the halls smelled like mildew. Some of the ceiling lights were going out which didn't help with the look. Both rooms had stains on the carpet, chairs,and bedding. One room even had stains on the lampshades and cigarette burns on the tub while the other one's suitcase stool was all torn up. One room got hand soap, the other did not, neither had bath gel.
The continental breakfast was ok; cereal, oatmeal, bagels, muffins and drinks.
This is our second attempt at staying at a Super8, there will not be a third. Management seriously needs to make some upgrades. There were several upset customers when we checked in. I felt bad for the staff.
