The staff was fairly helpful, though I needed to figure a few things out myself (language barrier may have contributed, which is certainly not their fault). "The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. They had someone that could communicate in English to help with the check in. The hotel has plenty of restaurants including a TGI Fridays for those wanting a burger and fries. The 7 Eleven downstairs had plenty to choose from in case you had a late run. The hotel was very clean and the room had a beautiful view to the city. "

"This place is great. The staff helped us ship our luggage to our next hotel. They were the most lovely people; I can't praise them enough. The location is awesome, walking distance to everything in Minato Mirai, Bashamichi stop on the MM line outside the door, and a Lincos grocery store next door. The view from the hotel lobby is the best in the area. The room is well equipped, with a washer/dryer, frig, and everything to dine in the room. The breakfast was pricey, but filling and delicious (western and Japanese style). The 24 hour free coffee lounge was a surprising bonus. Oakwood Suites is an absolute bargain. "

"Wonderful high end hotel in good proximity to waterfront walk & Pacifica conference center. Get a high floor with executive lounge access for a complete western or japanese breakfast & teatime. Staff is extremely helpful though not much English spoken. No concierge to arrange excursions, but staff did research & found what i wanted"

"The front end staff spoke English. We had no difficulty at all. A pleasant stay. You do have to register to use the pool in a form online. The form is not English friendly. We had to use a translation app. This could be improved. You get to use the pool for 1 1/2 hours to avoid over crowding. "
