"The property is amazing and the rooms are spacious and extremely clean and comfortable. The corridors and the landings are in contrast with the rooms and seem a little outdated. The grounds are also very nice although all the focus is especially dedicated to the golf course. The spa was enjoyable with two nice indoor and outside (small) pools. However, we found that for a 4 stars « superior » hotel certain aspects could be improved, in particular in regards to service and food options. It lacked...

. We paid extra for a river view room, but were very disappointed to find a scaffolding tower to the side of our balcony blocking half the view. The room was set back from the front of the hotel and so the remaining view was limited (Room 501). We asked to move, the staff were very accommodating, but it would have to be next day as they were full. When we got back from our day out and went to the new room, we were not impressed. "We stayed two nights at this property in our way back from Konstanz to Rotterdam. The hotel was easy to find and there is a car park immediately opposite (the hotel gives a badge that can be put in front window of car). The hotel is of a reasonably good standard, niceish rooms and a reasonable breakfast. Bath robes are provided and r rooms well cleaned but beginning to show age a little. We eat dinner one night at hotel which was good. There js a small swimming
