“We had an amazing stay. The view was amazing and the bed was comfortable. The owners checked in on us and it was an enjoyable experience. Definitely recommend.”

“Hmmm, I expected a Jimmy Buffet type of lobby , was NOT ! Food was not it at all , they did drop other towels faster than I expected and the rooms had no drain issue etc so that was good ,”

“The A/C was a little noisy. They were ants in the kitchen area. The room needed a black out curtain over the kitchen window. The bathroom needs a fan to remove the steam from shower”

“Spent 4nights and it was beautiful close to beach great views. The only thing I didn’t like was the restaurant and bar closed early like 9pm so if u didn’t have food by then you will starve and if you did have food there was no microwave to heat the food up.”

“I had a great stay in the villa room! The room was, big, clean and nice. Water temp and pressure was great. Wonderful views and privacy! I did not like having to pass the cat family everyday but no biggie, they were chill. All around great experience and I will be booking again!”

“The view is why you should stay here. The pool and bar are great, lounge chairs need repair. Convenient access to old town. The restaurant is very good but pricey, Sibs up the road is a grea local bar and restaurant. There is NO sign to tell you where to turn to get to hotel. Three stars is a good position for this hotel. Finally, I would NOT return to St. Thomas. There are a lot to see and do but driving the roads wear you out getting there. Go to St. John or St. Croix instead.”

“Stayed at the resort for 4 nights . The room was clean . Bed was soft for my comfort. Additionally, Air conditioning was set and unable to get a remote to change the temperature to adjust temperature for ones comfort. Toilet kept running and bathroom shower pipe dripping for the duration of the stay . Hotel upkeep is poor . Notwithstanding, I took off a Bulova crystal watch , left in the room and went out the watch was no where to be found, Reported the matter to the front desk...

“Booked a last minute trip here with my wife and daughter. We absolutely loved everything. The food was great, the room was very clean and updated unlike what we saw from other resorts. Honestly dont let a few bad reviews sway you about staying here. We will be back to the Buoy House next year. Well worth the price to stay here.”

“Everything here was excellent, including the staff, the facilities, the room, the view from the room, the food in the restaurants, the pool, the available water toys (kayak, hobbies, ) and the very attention to details that convey that sense of luxury (ie the shampoo, the towel, the soap, the amazing bedding, etc). They are trying to keep the sargassum away with a barrier and partially succeeding at keeping it under control. The beach is relatively small and facing east.”

My flight was delayed, and she kindly waited for me to arrive later than expected, which I truly appreciated. “Room was clean and comfortable. Would have liked a microwave in the room and coffee available in the lobby. The sitting area was nice unless there was a boat nearby that gave a diesel smell. Cruise ships did not dock in front of the hotel but further down the dock, so our view was not blocked. Hotel is in walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the sky-tram which was nice.”

“Decent breakfast provided. Egg o waffles, packaged english muffins and bagels. Fruit or yogurt would have been a nice addition. Wonderful that they allowed us to use beach equipments- chairs, toys, cooler, towels. Patio was nice to eat at (there are cats that hang around however). Clean, close to the grocery stores and the ferry. Nice pool.”

“Great place to stay. Was SUPER hard to find at first with Google maps. Perfect breakfast and very laid back. We had a gorgeous view and the AC worked perfect. Nice staff. THE best thing was that we were able to walk about everywhere. Perfect hotel if wanting to walk to the pop up shops/food/jewelry places”
