"The ceilings were leaking from the rain. The hallway on the 4th floor smelled bad. I booked 2 rooms traveling with family and they put us on opposite ends of the hallway which was really i convenient for us."

"Actually a really solid option. Happy Hour M-F/breakfast was really good. Everyone was also very nice. Just don't turn your ac up/leave the door open or due to the humidity your floor will get really wet. Learned that the hard way."

"This is my second time here. Back to back weekends. Y'all, if you want to go to a place that feels more like going home where everyone at the end of your stay is like family to you, come here! Very safe and quiet. Great area. Lots of places to eat, although the food in the dining room is great, and the bar is great, too. Plenty of coffee and juice and a great hot breakfast. Lots of cereals and yogurts. By the end of this second stay, I knew almost all of the guests, their kids were calling me "Miss Leigh," and giving me hugs, and the adults, esp. the fellow females, were like sisters. If you want to be by yourself, you can do that, too. I am an extrovert, and I like meeting people, swapping stories, and the like. This is a gem in south Texas, for sure!"
