The Staff at the Alphotel displayed an amazing degree of compassion as we faced a very tragic personal loss during our stay. They went beyond what was needed or expected to assist us in our time of crisis and were nothing but caring, kind and considerate as we dealt with our tragedy.

Very clean and presentable property, friendly staff and amazing views to the mountains from the room. Great breakfast too. Didn't use the pool. Ideal to have a car to stay here as not much about but the hotel, thats all we needed.

We (2 adults and 3 children) stayed in the top floor apartment which has two bedrooms, bathroom and a kitchen. The apartment was immaculate and so comfortable. It was fun for us to stay in the attic and we loved the gorgeous outlook. Breakfast was delicious, the owners were helpful and the village is beautiful. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it.

Ett hotell o plats som överträffar förväntningar.

Läget är fantastiskt vid Oberammergau. Ett stort kloster med en underbar basilika. Många vandringsvägar. 12 km från hotellet finns Ludwig II sagoslott som han hade själv.. Linderhof måste besökas. Efter vandringar väntar bastu o inomhuspool på 12m

They put me in a room with a single bed and I reserved double. It was hot! After my inquiry they miraculous found a room with bigger bed even though I was told the whole hotel had no available rooms.

Helt ok. Läget i Ettal är bra. Något lyhört och inte den skönaste sängen men ok. Högljudd bussgrupp störde utanför rummet. Frukosten var även den helt ok.

Could be a great hotel if managed right

While the hotel lies beautifully in the mountains the bed was the worst I've ever had in a hotel. Mattresses were very old and even though we had booked a room for two we had to get the second towel and blanket out of the shelf ourselves. The lady at the breakfast didn't speak any German, English or Spanish and couldn't explain us anything. Internet is not free but sells for 2 Euro per device.

I liked this place. Personnel tried to speak English, even it was difficult. Russian they spoke fluently, due to other quests was Russian. Balkony on room was big plus. Comparing to other Gasthaus in tien, this was quite expensive.

Clean, neat and fine price hotel.

It was a clean and neat hotel. My room had 2 bed rooms, 1 toilet and kitchen. There were refrigerator, dish washer and a microwave in the kitchen. One thing different from the description from the website was swimming pool. I was not able to find it though it was one of the reasons for booking. Anyway I am satisfied with the room and nice people there. I want to visit there again.
