"I paid through Expedia.
However, Expedia said that they did not receive the payment, and the hotel also asked me to pay for the accommodation.
I paid twice. I am very dissatisfied."
"I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The place was clean, the bed was super comfy and the shower pressure was excellent.
Parking was super convenient and view in the mornign was lovely.
I also covered my hotel room on my YouTube channel."
"As a solo guest , I was made to feel very welcome even though the staff were busy with weddings !!
They organised taxis for me !
Wonderful breakfast and a charming place to stay with so much history "
"Excellent for the price I paid. Rooms have recently been renovated and it showed. The only niggles were that the extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and probably needs replacing (room 10) and there was no hot water: I tried to have a shower but couldn't: No matter how long you ran the tap for or in which position the water never got warm.
Would definitely stay there again. Big thank you to Jamie who so very kindly let me check in early."

The White Swan Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Love these older style hotels. There has clearly been recent refurbishment and the reception and staircase look great and in keeping with su a property. The standard room we stayed in was basic and if older style but very clean. Everything worked as expected and we had a great sleep.
As there is no on site restaurant the foyer and downstairs area lack a bit of ambience and I would suggest some music be played to make it a bit more welcoming
Location on quiet street in centre of town only a 5 minute walk to train and bus station
Overall great place and value at this price point."

"No signs outside the building but managed to get in OK. Teh corridors smellt of cigarettes and was a bit basic, but once in the apartment, it was nice and clean and perfect for our requirements."
