"We loved the stay here. The villas we stayed in was nicely sized, had all the amenities we needed. short walk to the nearby beach. others can access it but villas had their own lounge chairs with key. Main pool only open 5pm and later but each unit has a pool if needed. honestly, ocean is so much better as the water is clear and temperature perfect. few restaurants in walking distance. store just a short 2 minutes drive. central location about hour to chania, 90 minutes to south side. "Fantastic location in heart of Matala. Hotel reception very helpful and assisted us with some printing. Breakfast adequate. Room ok handy to have a small balcony, very clean. Bar was a bit lacking - no-one to serve even though the bar staff were sat nearby and did not get up to serve me. When I came back 10 minutes later I got served. However when I tried to take my drink back to my room it was no-go, staff appeared from everywhere telling me I couldn't. So had to put my drink in a paper cup."
