Newly opened so a lot of things were missing like a sign, which in the beginning was very difficult to locate. The room itself were very big and everything was new though the walls are thin and can hear people next to you. But it was a great value for the money and fairly close to the harbour where the restaurants and bars are. Would definitely recommend a car.
Pros: The property was beautiful but does need some upgrades. It was in a very private secluded area perfect for a romantic getaway or if you just want to be left alone. The pool was nice & clean & it felt safe staying here. The inside of the suite was roomy & generally well kept aside from a few issues.
Cons: Not 20 hours before I arrived I was told my room was double booked & Expedia was blamed. If your running a business you should be consistently keeping track of your bookings so that if issues do arise they can be rectified immediately. I was offered a room with a better view so I was pleased in the end but to find out the last minute sent me into complete panic mode as I was already on my way to the destination & had to try communicate with the property owner in-between my layovers - The property owner wasn't all too friendly. Anytime I asked him for assistance he seemed very annoyed & like it was a bother to him to have to help with anything & could be a bit condescending at times. I stayed longer than 5 days so I should have had a cleaner come to my room to clean & no one showed up & my room was never cleaned. I had to take out the garbage myself as they were overflowing. Nothing was stocked in the room & when I told the owner I was out of toilet paper & garbage bags he was at the property. He told me he was on his way out & I had to wait for 2 hours until he got back instead of grabbing it before he left & basically told me to go get it myself if I cant wait.
Looks nothing like the pictures, had to leave the property and book elsewhere as it was virtually derelict and abandoned. Taxi drivers refused to drive there because of the road condition. Moved to another property, refused a refund by the owner. He was rude and abupt. I would NOT RECOMMEND booking here.
The location above Falmouth harbour is terrific, and it is clear that the owner has tried to create a special little oasis in an area that has limited quality accommodation. And it works. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and with a very comfy bed and a highly original shower room, with pebbles for floor and walls ! TV have Netflix ( but it was playing up when we were there) and the kitchen has all the appliances you need ( but very little in way of cutlery and crockery. Owner says people have been stealing them!). The outside patio has wonderful views and a great hammock. Improvements - more and better signage - finding it is hard, and the last part of the road has potholes the size of India - better lighting in the rooms, hand towels in bathroom and more kitchen gear
I would not recommend. Arrived at the property after a long day of connecting flights to the premises not being presentable. The Villa was not cleaned. After extended communication with the host he became very defensive and wasn’t accommodating at all. Aside from the uncleanliness the view of the location was breathtaking.
This property could be amazing, but we were so disappointed. The whole place was grubby, we found multiple cockroaches, and it was only cleaned once during the week stay (not three times as promised). No soap, shower gel etc. We only got pool/beach towels on the 4th day (after the only clean).
The furniture was tatty, the kitchen was dirty and the lock on the main door was so weak that we didn’t feel safe leaving things in the property. (There was a safe, but it wasn’t connected to anything, so you could just lift it up and take it away!)
The pool also looked grimy, and the loungers around it were all mouldy.
Views great.
Located down a very bumpy unsealed road. A 30 min walk into town for dinner - or a short drive.

Views were excellent. Accommodations were comfortable.
Pictures on Expedia were a bit misleading .Not all of the Villas had the Hanging Basket Hammocks as depicted.

Could use some upkeep maintenance and a good cleaning
The view is awesome, you can’t beat it. However, the place is poorly maintained. Some examples, the deck furniture was broken, the front door looked like it had been broken into. The bed frame was falling apart although the mattresses were very comfortable. The sunshades and umbrellas around the pool were all torn. The owner was not around. There was no coffee maker upon our arrival as it had been broken, but the fellow looking after the place did find us one. The lighting at night was extremely poor. The fans over the stove did not work, nor the ceiling fan. This could me a five star place with a little investment of time and money. The cleaner was excellent!!

Needs renovation, cozy beds, nice views, spacious
The room was nice and spacious but furniture and run down, the kitchen is huge but the kitchenware was outdated, old and dirty. The bed was very cozy. The surroundings were dirty and run down, the pool was a dirty pond, it's a pitty the place isn't very well looked after. Needs renovation. Peter was very helpful and easy to deal with, when we had some problems with the water supply. Would only recommend the place after renovation.
Appliances are old and outdated and needs renovation.
Broken latch on door leading to deck.
Holes in the drywall in the bedroom.
Large shower but no shower curtain so water gets outside.
Slanted floor so when it rained water came in under the front door.
Would not recommend this for future visitors.
Great value for money, the best we could find on the island, having stayed in 5 different places all across the island. The space is massive, huge bedroom, the largest shower I’ve been in, a super modern and comfortable living room and a massive balcony. Such a shame we only stayed one night, we will be back but next time for several weeks.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
The secluded location offered a peaceful and tranquil environment away from the busy areas. However the room had some minor issues (air condition took long to cool rooms, irritating smoke alarm kept beeping for low battery through the night)
The apartment is very spacious and well equipped with a stunning view on the bay: we loved being there.
Our host (Michael) was really helpful, easy to deal with, always available and nice.
The location is ideal to explore the English harbour area, Shirley heights, Nelson's dockyard, local beaches like Pigeon beach and also get without too much driving to other places like the Devil's bridge, half moon beach, St John, etc...
Things to note is that the access road is being surfaced meaning that right now it is raw soil and rocks; a normal car can get there however slowly and carefully. It will be fine in a few weeks when the work is completed.
We had a great time there and would stay there again if we visit Antigua in the future.
