“We had a great stay at Quinta da Foz. The place is very unique, with history dating back to 16th century. The owner of the place was very welcoming and gave us a private tour around the house. The stay included a breakfast, and we were treated every day to local delicacies and homemade pastries. Delicious!”

The breakfast was excellent - a good variety of offerings and scrambled eggs on request. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner, even though we turned up late. N.B. The only negative - no fault of the hotel - the address given on the Expedia site is wrong! It takes you to a private house about...
