“We had a plesant time”

“Room & bathroom were small but clean a well kept, very near road , unable to have windows open due to a warm evening. The room did have AC”

“Arrived to find the place locked up and had to make a phone call for someone to come to the pub to give us our room key. Apparently there was a problem of having no electricity due to the heat. No evening meal available and no bar; breakfast was average, with some folk having to wait a long time for service. The place was clean and room was comfortable.”

“Lovely location and tranquil setting. However our stay did not include breakfast and at £13 each we gave it a miss. Plenty of parking outside, although there were very few staff around, we had to call the hotel to get someone at reception.”

“I paid for a room with a window the window does not open. Was so hot no air on. The room was not clean stains on the bedding the floor was covered in dust and human hair. You go into the bathroom there was a huge nail sticking out on the floor. Booked 2 people only got 1 towel? The staff behind desk was nice. But will never go back.”

“A distinct lack of staff all through my stay particularly at breakfast. Reception was unattended both at check in and check out.”

“On arrival early evening the landlord showed me to my room and was very polite and helpful. The room was very clean. There was a musty smell throughout the room and also the stairs outside. May have had the carpets cleaned at some recent point. The en-suite although large was a bit disappointing as the bath had a fitted shower screen and a shower head holder fitted to the wall but no shower. Room slightly noisy until the kitchen extractors were switched off about 9.30pm, although the landlord...

“Great as always… Lovely staff, easy parking and check in. Restaurants within walking area but their restaurant/bar is perfect… 30second walk from the hotel. Quiet and safe as you have to tap the card twice at the front and then room. I really like this hotel and will be staying many more times over the summer. Thank you”
