"Website says there's a breakfast room but I couldn't find it and since there's no reception (that I could find anyway), there was no one to ask. That said, very easy check in with txt code, room was spotless and comfortable and hotel is in an excellent location."

"The hotel is beautiful and situated in a lovely place for walking. It was also possible to walk down to the fjord. Transport via bus was excellent from nearby the hotel into Stavanger centre which was good as there are not many dining or local shopping opportunities in the area. A shame the bar at the hotel only accepted card payments - no cash option."

"I really liked their fast response providing me with passwords to get into the hotel because we were going to arrive late. Very clean property. Even though we were late for breakfast, we were offered a cup of coffee free of charge. The only difficulty that I encountered is that the restroom is shared, but it is acceptable."

"We really looked forward to staying here but our stay was absolutely ruined by smokers next door. We paid extra for a harbour view which was lovely but we could not open the window or sit on the shared balcony because our room was next to a smoking room and the guests there exercised their right to smoke. When we mentioned this in the morning the customer service was appalling with the receptionist shrugging her shoulders and asking what she could do. Well; for one thing not have a smoking room...

"It is off peak season so the hotel/lodge is not stuffed during check in time. Hope the self-check in instructions can be sent one day ahead because accessing internet is not always possible while traveling. And the bagged breakfast is too basic and the quantity is on low side. "Beautiful surroundings directly at the fjord. Cozy atmosphere around the folks at the hotel, the boss is very helpful and the country and western style goes perfectly with this part of Norway. Nothing negative. Everything is 'greit', as they say in Norway. Fine breakfast with lots of shrimps."

"I reserved one night for a layover trip back to the UK. So ended up booking when I landed at Stavenger. From the moment me and my family arrived we were greeted by Daria and she was absolutely amazing. From booking us in promptly to going out of her way to make sure we had breakfast packs (as we had to leave before the breakfast start time). She even helped us arrange a taxi when our pre-booked one cancelled. She made our short and sweet stay, stress-free! The hotel and room were of high standard and our room was sufficient for a family of 5. Highly recommend!!!"
