Terrible hotel, ever stay there

We checked in to find the room was nothing like the photos on the website. You could not fit two suitcases in the room, and expect to be able to open them. The bathroom was so small you had to close the door to fit in it. No shower, you had to sit in the bath with a hand held head, that leaked. The entrance to the wing we were in felt like you were in the hotel from “The Shining”, you had to walk past piles of laundry, hotel supplies etc. I asked the lovely gentleman at the front desk if we could change rooms, as it was not an acceptable…but nothing else was available. When I asked for a couple of towels to use at the pool, an extremely unpleasant man basically abused me verbally as it was not acceptable behavior to ask for two towels! It was so unbelievable we tried to find another hotel…but unfort we could find nothing available. Terrible place. Never experienced anything like it before, and hopefully never again. The only nice thing about the place was the lovely younger gentleman at the front desk

Séjour idyllique

Hôtel très bien placé, personnel accueillant et chambre au top. Si j ai une seule critique à faire, la télévision ne captait pas la Une et France 2 mais cela est compréhensible au vu de la situation géographique avec le relief naturel

Grand Hôtel du Parc

Accueil et personnel au top. Le lieux est chargé d’histoire. Chambre située devant la piscine de taille minimum mais jolie. Le point négatif : la literie ( matelas et oreillers en fin de vie ), insonorisation à revoir. Le restaurant est irréprochable.

Très mauvaise expérience

La réception n’a pas pris en compte le mail que j’ai adressé, où j’exprimais le souhait une chambre au calme. Nous sommes arrivés dans une chambre ridiculement petite, donnant sur la rue passante. Le réceptionniste est à peine aimable. De plus, Jamais je ne m’étais fait enguirlander par le personnel d’étage personnel, très désagréable. Nous avons décidé d’écourter notre séjour pour ces raisons.

Trevlig miljö i en park, bra läge central i samhället, gott om parkering, bra bemötande från personalen. Hotellet verkar ha ambition att vara något extra, till exempel är vinlistan mycket omfattande. Men mitt rum var högst ordinärt, gammalt och lite trist. Inte alls "premium". Kanske fick jag ett lågprisrum?

Sympa, mais.. a remettre au gout du jour

L hotel date un peu, ca, ca fait son charme, mais les chambres dans le bâtiment d en face sont tres limites. L'insonorisation est inexistante, 3 cm de jour sous la porte, literie a changer, le chauffage qui se mets en marche que le soir, alors à 4 heures de l apres midi, il faisait 12 degres.

Hyggeligt ældre lidt slidt hotel - Meget lydt men rent. Da restauranten er lukket ofte vil der være godt med the og kaffe mulighed på værelserne. Sengen var meget fin.

Accueil tiède aucune anticipation dun événement nécessitant un service tôt pour coureurs du trail tarn pourtant nombreux... Et petit déjeuner servi jusqu'à 9h30 le samedi matin, quand tu descends a 9h35 aucun effort pour te donner ne serait ce qu'un gâteau ou autre.... Très déçus surtout quand tu t'es levée a 5h du mat pour accompagner ton mari et que tu t'es recouchée pour finir ta petite nuit.... Copie a revoir !

Bel hôtel d'époque qui est resté dans son jus. Logée dans un bâtiment annexe, côté rue, la chambre était bruyante. La fenêtre ne se fermait pas bien. Demande de changement de chambre. Les chambres ne sont pas très spacieuses et sont vieillottes. Vraiment dommage ce manque d'entretien

Das Frühstücksbuffet war unpraktisch angeordnet, das Personal nicht hilfsbereit, es würde, noch während die Gäste innerhalb der vorgegebenen Zeit frühstückten, die Tische und Stühle umgestellt und ein Teil der Speisen schon abgedeckt. Im Eingangsbereich wurde gesaugt und versucht den bereits bezahlten Übernachtungspreis nochmal in Rechnung zu stellen.

This was a 1900 hotel with heaps of character. It had on-site parking, a restaurant which was full the first night so had to go elsewhere and very limited options. Was a basic room with a hand held shower over the bath. Enjoyed our short stay in the Parc setting allowing us to enjoy the surrounding area.

Hotel à la déco tres viellote. Piscine et parc superbe Chambre exiguëe mais avec un petit balcon sympa. Literie defoncée et inconfortable. Le plus désagréable a été de découvrir que l'hotel nous avait réservé la pire table en plein milieu d'un passage de porte ou en plus passent tous les serveurs. Devant la volonté evidente du personnel à ne pas vouloir nous trouver une autre solution alors qu'il y avait d'autres tables disponibles nous avons diné à Florac au restaurant "chez les paysans" et là franchement je vous le recommande

Well what can I say.... We booked 2 nights at the Grand Hotel Du Parc on our way back up to the UK as a stopover from driving to relax. £66 per night £11 Euros for Breakfast (which we didn't have) The village of Florac is something I've never encountered before. Likened to Hot Fuzz 😂... Not a soul around in the evening when we arrived. We walked the alleyways through people's gardens whilst eating there tea looking for a restaurant 🙈 We found the restaurant that did drinks, bruchetta and Lasagne. Genourous pourings of wine and lovely beer with lovely food and staff. We were the only English there but felt very much welcome in the village and the hotel. A very picturesque village with lots of walking routes (which we didn't do) but I've never seen anything quite like it and it was an experience for sure. A positive one all the same. The hotel.. So people say you get what you pay for. Fantastic value for money. The setting of the hotel ie the gardens and pool is just beautiful. We had it pretty much to ourselves both days and absolutely zero complaints. The room was adequately sized. Definitly like a time warp back to 80s with with the decor but I found it quite charming. If your walking up the twirly stairs don't go slow as the lights are on timers and you may end up in darkness 😂 The room was spotless. The only downside was no AC or Fan in the room and it was quite stuffy of the night even with the balcony door left open. Overall a good stay.
