“The check-in process would have went smoother if I had checked my email 😅. As I booked through Expedia, I was expecting to have the instructions on my expedia inbox. So, I had to phone the host for the instructions, which she happily provided in a text. Interesting way of checking in, with a code and a lock box. Although it's nice to be greeted, this way saved a lot of time in waiting. The hotel was clean, the smell when entering the room was clean, fresh. Nice toiletries, plenty tea, coffee...

“We were a couple traveling from the United States, both in our later 50s. We ended up not staying in the room. After having to bring our four suitcases up two flights of stairs, our room was incredibly hot. When we opened the windows to try to cool things off, we were met by several flies and other insects.
