"This is a hotel in Fontainebleau but it is not belle. I paid almost $400 a night (the Expedia rate was twice what they were showing at the hotel) for a room with no air conditioning and it was 98 degrees at night and impossible to sleep. Also, the bathroom smelled and there was a tv bracket on the wall but no tv. I have never felt so ripped off by a hotel room before."

"The rooms and the property are old. When we stayed there, the weather was very warm, and there were no ACs at all in all the first floor rooms (it was only available in some rooms at the top floor) The shower drain didn’t work and despite telling reception nothing was done about it. The hotel location and price are ok but I do not recommend this place as a first choice at all"

"We booked 3 rooms and two had no air conditioning working. Reported the fault, a man arrived, shook his head, said sorry and left. Never saw or heard of anyone again. Not bothered that it was 30 degrees in our room. Two of our three couples spend a very very uncomfortable 2 nights, one couple even had a baby with them. Nobody offered fans etc we had to eventually ask for one on the second afternoon but only the one was available for the two rooms. Would have expected some kind of apology at...
