"I stayed here as a stopover while driving down to Italy and it was perfect for this: simple, unpretentious, with a utilitarian room but with a big bed and a good shower. The only glitch for me was that Hotels.com didn't send me the login code and it took me a long time to find it - eventually it popped up when i tried to cancel."
"Alain/Alan was helpful & spoke good English explaining entry/exit etc when reception unmanned. He helped arrange secure parking @ their companion hotel (€15) a short walk away. Room was small and dark but clean with no wardrobe or storage apart from a table and up 3 flights of stairs. Breakfast was €8.50 and decent, served @ the busy bar below. Lovely location too."
"Quite obviously an ex-Campanile hotel as a lot of the signage remains the same.
The restaurant is an uninspiring open plan room next to the reception with only 3 choices of main meal.
Whilst the waitress was kind and accommodating, to have run out of eggs for the omelette (the only vegetarian option) was unfortunate.
Sadly, the location of the hotel makes the prospect eating elsewhere difficult.
The rooms are the small balconied type you’d expect to find at Campanile.
