“What lovely location. We were lucky enough to get a room with a beautiful ciew of the meadows and the cathedral which was stunning. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd like to use this hotel more often. ”

“This is a lovely old country pub with nice log fires, the rooms are nice clean and warm, they are dog friendly so as a dog owner it’s all you could ask for, after fabulous food you can go and walk it off in the forest, the staff are all nice and friendly, they are very attentive but not overbearing which is fabulous, it is great watching the donkeys walked passed at breakfast, would highly recommend and will be going back again soon ”

My only comment would be that the dining menu could be improved to consider a main course offer of Steak / Salad and Fish ? - that said the food was very good and I throughly enjoyed my supper, the wine was excellent too.”
