“Sian, the landlady is wonderful -- friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel's.com said there are laundry facilities but this is not true. BUT Sian did our laundry for us. We stayed in the annex but no one who was mobility problems, or is tall or heavy should stay there -- it is difficult to maneuver under the low ceilings. ”

“It wasn’t made clear when I booked that there was a wedding on. So none of the amenities were available. Literally just the room. No air-conditioning. No coffee available downstairs in the morning either about 10.30am?? Don’t recommend.”

“Room was clean, no on site staff, location ok, comfort in the room acceptable. ”

“On arrival at Bell Cottage we were met by occupants who directed us around the corner to the owner's house. The owner was not in but able to communicate via the Ring doorbell. We were greeted warmly and told where to collect the keys to a different property with en-suite and a shared kitchen, situated to the the left of the owner's house. So a bit of confusion to start with, but the attic room we occupied was lovely, cosy, comfy and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“Please note that if you stay at this hotel on a Friday or Saturday night, it will be very noisy. Music is played until 1am, so it’s difficult to get any sleep before then. The general cleanliness is acceptable, but there was some mould in the bathroom and the window blind was broken. It’s fine as a basic place to stay, but if you’re hoping for a good night’s sleep, this may not be the best choice.”

“Great location. Beautiful outside terrace with great food. Service is friendly but not as quick as we would have liked. Restaurant food is great too. Spa booked up way in advance so could not use that for this stay. We would happily return.”

“Super cute establishment! Room was super clean, room service came every day and replenished everything. 2 complimentary bottles of water provided every day. Staff literally bent over backwards to accommodate every step of the way. The restaurant was absolutely fire!!”
