"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Cambria, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable."

"First, my room was huge, about 1000 sq ft, with a full kitchen. This place would probably be better suited for long term rentals. The room was 80% clean, but the lobby was very disorganized and dirty. There was also wear and tear damage throughout the hotel, that should be cleaned and repaired. The staff was friendly, but not very engaged; need more hospitality oriented training. There were also some shady characters milling about the entrance to the hotel. Understand it’s Detroit and there’s not much the hotel can do about it, but it’s worth noting. I had a very uncomfortable exchange with someone who wanted to use my phone. Also, you have to pay for parking in a lot across the street. $60 for two nights! All in all, a decent affordable option, but would be better as a long term rental, they need parking, to fix up the lobby and common areas, and give the staff some more training."

Hollywood Casino at Greektown

"Great property with just a few flaws. Parking is difficult to find currently with all the construction in the area (temporary) and while the rooms are nice the walls are super thin. You hear everything in the hallways and in the rooms next to you. Everything! Staff was great and while we didn’t win at the casino, it is super fun and Greektown offers tons of bars and restaurants right nearby."

"We requested room service for three consecutive nights. We were away from the hotel for at least 10–16 hours each day, leaving early every morning. I returned each night and complained to the front desk because we had to request additional towels daily. Each time, I was told, “No problem, I’ll make sure it’s done tomorrow.” Unfortunately, we never received room service during the entirety of our trip."
