Nice stop for night on way to Inverness. This town is easier to navigate than the larger Fort William which seemed very busy when we drove through. We like smaller towns that our scenic so this fit the bill.

"The lochness gatehouse was fine for a stop over on our way to Isle of Skye. The check in process could be improved. We had to call the owner, Martin when we arrived, but do not have access to calling as we’re from North America. He is not on WhatsApp to text either. There isn’t a ton of dinner options ..."

"It is a great property but don’t arrive late because there is not much communication until you arrive at the property. We arrived 3pm and you pick up keys at the coffee shop that closes arround 5:30. As long you get there early you won’t have a problem. Otherwise, the property is great! Very clean ..."

"Easy parking, clean and tidy room only let down was squeaky bed when someone moved, toilet and shower block clean and plenty of hot water, shared kitchen clean with plates cups etc. for a inexpensive place to stay was very impressed. If travelling in area again would definitely use, many thanks."

The Lock Inn has delicious food and an excellent staff. The coffee/breakfast place on that street is great, too. The town itself is picturesque and nestled in a beautiful area. A one-of-a-kind place.
