“The Hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional. The interior of the Hotel was neat and clean as a pin. The only thing that fell short was the exterior of the building. It desperately needs a coat of paint and freshening up. The landscaping was horrific and looked like an abandoned building from the exterior. I expected much better street appeal from Marriot. Other than that my week-long stay was awesome.”

“Owner was very Sweet! Had called to check on my arrival time and I had mentioned in conversation, I forgot my book. He politely offered me books and set some on the end of the bed for my arrival. Very cute and cozy place. Very peaceful to set and read a book at the outside accommodations.”

“They had laundry equipment burn up at 11:30pm, didn't get back into the building until 1:00am then they let a family with children pound the floors running an playing until 2:30am. Had to call the front desk on my cell phone because house phone didn't work. Heard the Fire Cheif tell the Hotel this was the second time in a month they responded to the same fire problem.”

“Room was outdated. Needs repainted. Room was spacious. Bathroom was clean. Damage on the ceiling in the room,bathroom and hallways. Pool was warm, had clean towels.”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. The establishment however, was very worn and in need of upgrades. The breakfast consisted of donuts and frozen Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits. Nothing fresh. No fruit. I didn’t expect much considering the area we were in but we enjoyed the countryside and visiting the birth place of Loretta Lynn. ”

“I checked in to a room with someone else's belonging already there.. they double booked the room.. then found a soiled restroom and when I called they said.. we didn't see anything we were just there.. I said I'm sorry you didn't lift the lid.. but my son went to use the restroom and found .. well you know under the seat”

“My wife and I stopped here on our way down to West Virginia late at night checked in found one room had bodily fluids all over the place like on the mattress cigarette burns on the comforters as for a new room the new room smelled like weed as well as the mattresses were stained with what looks like dried old blood. Please do not stay here.”

“The property was scary. It might have been the clientele but my daughter and I slept with our pepper gel and stun gun out while putting the chair in front of the door. The Days Inn next door look better kept. I won’t be staying there again. Also the smoke detector what hanging off the wall. I don’t even know if it worked. There was almost an inch gap under the door into the room. Definitely don’t stay in that room since any critter could come in. I’m sure during the winter, it would be fun...

“It was okay for the price, peaceful and clean. Sadly the mattress was a bit uncomfortable & springy. I slept on top of the comforter and used my own. My room was clean and smelled great. The tv bit small for king size bed & room size. The channel selection was pretty basic. Small fridge worked. Very small microwave & it was a bit dented up but worked. I wouldn't mind staying there again if the price is right. Ive paid for nicer at same price or cheaper. I was worried about the reviews especially...

“you have to check in before 10pm or they will cancel your reservation. It doesn’t say this on the site when booking. Also, there isn’t a phone number to call for the front desk to get ahold of anyone at the motel. The number sends you to a call center not located on site. ”
