It's all uphill getting there but worth the hike. If it's a warm day, go early. Allow time to explore. If you're into unfamiliar plants or larger versions of what you are familiar with, don't miss the moat. We just sat around and relaxed and enjoyed the views of the city and the harbor- again, morning is better. In the afternoon the sun will be in your eyes unless it's cloudy. The Skirling (bagpipes) is enjoyable-check the listing for day and time.
