We booked this trip to Margaritaville. We were unable to upgrade without a $100/night fee because “they are not affiliated wit Margaritaville”. I feel that’s deceptive. We asked for a king bed but had two queen beds. Off and on the hallway and our room had a terrible odor. They placed a fan one time in the room then removed the fan. The odor continued thru out the stay. Reported it numerous times to the front desk, supervisor, cleaning lady and other staff. I did not like the up front $800 charge on my credit card. They said it was placed so they know we had money to pay for our purchases. My credit card had a large credit then it was removed. I have several charges from them that I’m not sure what they are for. Just overall very disappointed with the stay at this Margaritaville in fort myers.

Rooms were clean but small. A chair would have been nice. Loved the bathroom and shower. Very loud music throughout the resort all day. Would have been nice to have a break for a few hours from the loud music. Because resort fees didn’t include beach chairs it was hard to get away from the noise. Resort fees were high when comparing it to other resorts such as Pink Shell that included parking, breakfast buffet and beach chairs w/umbrella. Loved the common area outside.
