My son was very excited to meet such a friendly face when we were checking in, and he asked to visit Carson many times to say hello. :-) Also, the breakfast had an incredible variety - so much to choose from. We also loved the pool and the hot tub. We will be back!"

"No elevators in the place so you need to carry all of your stuff up a ton of stairs. There was a huge bug in our room and the AC’s didn’t work well. The guy had to come out and help but he got it going. Need more towels than 3 for a family. Loved the washer and dryer and location, and parking available. Pull out bed needs a new mattress as it had stains! The couch needs a good steam clean. Otherwise it was cute and cozy!"

"Great breakfast, friendly staff and very ornately decorated hotel. The hotel room itself does not have a fridge which is a downside. Overall its a nice place for a stay that is central and walkable to downtown Portsmouth."
