"Hotel was updated clean and new staff was very nice and suggested things to do in Beaver Dam area My only problem was that the pool area was so strong of chlorine smell that I couldn’t participate in swimming with my grandson because it affected my breathing , with that being said I feel that an exhaust system should be installed to make the pool area safer ! We come to beaver dam to visit our grandson and I might have to rethink staying at Comfort inn because I enjoy swimming with my grandson and because of this issue I can’t . "The person checking us in was wonderful and helpful. The hotel on the other hand is due for some renovation. The room was beat up and the toilet had a ring in it like it hadn’t been used in quite some time. It was very cold in the room we turned up the heat and couldn’t tell if it was doing anything. Went to the front desk was informed there were space heaters that needed to be turned on. She also attempted to clean the toilet but it needed more attention than she could give. Don’t believe the website I believe it’s from the previous owners the bar is closed on the property. All in all it was okay but a far cry from years gone by. "

"Clean facility and room. Friendly staff. Dog stayed comfortably. There is no bar though. It’s prominently displayed in their Hotels.com ad, but I actually found the room and it’s being used as storage."

"Lots of things were great. Non warm breakfast was ready at 4am. Pool was perfect 88 degrees. No hair or other surprises in our room. Staff was nice, helpful. We enjoyed our stay"
