Columbus Hotel is fine for a quick overnight stay

The Columbus Hotel is a convenient and affordable option for a quick overnighter just 3 min from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station). The property is small, but clean and staff is friendly and accommodating. What was off putting was the level of activity and noise in the rooms on all floors which could be heard until 3:00 AM. I have a feeling that the hotel doubles as housing for asylum seekers.

Simple and efficient hotel

Very simple, clean hotel. Friendly staff, although English is not always easy. Close to the station, but the neighbourhood is a bit dodgy in the evening/at night. The shower door didn't close properly, but it wasn't a big deal. Towels and sheets seem to be changed every other day. We didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that. Nous n'avons pas pris de petit déjeuner, je ne pourrais donc pas le juger.

가격이 저렴하니 좋은호텔은 기대하지 않으셔야 할 겁니다. 그 가격치고 중앙역에서 매우 가까워서 위치는 좋고, 좁고 인테리어 같은 것도 없지만 깨끗하고 따뜻했고, 조식도 성의있게 준비한 것 같아서 나름 만족했습니다. 관광 많이 다니고 숙소에서 잠만 잘거면 괜찮아요. 아침에 계신분은 매우 친절한데, 야간 근무자가 불친절해서 기분이 살짝 나쁘긴 했네요.

No frills base for exploring Frankfurt.

Easy check in/out. Clean - best used as a base for a short city break. Staff very helpful. Next to the main station which is handy when your bus is at 3am. Pizza bar next door is excellent. Good Wi-Fi.

Understand your expectations

Great service at check-in. No A/C, but staff unasked brought me a fan to help with hear/humidity. Nice little room, kept exceptionally clean each day. Like most small hotels, located in a neighborhood where people live and eat, so expect people talking into the night and the street cleaners nice and early. Very simple breakfast, but I don't need much. For me, great location near train station and only a kilometer to the Messe. For a small business guy like, it was just fine.

Nettes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal

Da Hotel ist direkt am Bahnhof gelegen, fussläufig alles super zu erreichen. Die Rezeption ist 24 Stunden besetzt und das Personal ist wirklich sehr nett. Das Hotel ist nicht mehr das neueste, dafür sind die Zimmer sauber und normal ausgestattet. Das wlan könnte durchaus etwas besser sein. Gefrühstückt habe ich nicht, aber beim vorbei gehen sag es ansprechend aus und die anderen Gäste sahen zufrieden aus.

The hotel staff were very helpful. The gentleman at the reception gave us complete directions to find the market we were looking for, and recommended two excellent restaurants for us to try in the old town. I'd suggest you walk across to the pedestrian bridge which offers a lovely view of the river and city.
