โPlumwood boutique hotel was situated close to all the amenities in Franschhoek. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent on always on hand to help us. We had an amazing breakfast with a fantastic choice. Lovely little touches such as a bed turndown, message on our pillow, slippers, hot and cold drinks always available and a beautiful bracelet as a parting gift. โSpacious and very comfortable rooms in a delightful property. Excellent staff, if a little too formal / deferential at times. Only thing I can score it down for is attention to detail on housekeeping -teapot and cup not cleaned away one day. Stairs and hall carpet needs a vacuum. Would recommend especially for the tranquility. โ
โThe property is excellent and well maintained throughout. The staff cannot be nicer and were a joy to be around. Heated floors in the bathroom are just one of the smaller fine touches. Small but enough selection for breakfast. โ
โThe Neighborhood is a great place to stay in Franchooek. Iโve stayed here twice-once with my brother and once with my husband and son. The accommodations are stylish and in great condition, and the location near the wine tram canโt be beat. You can walk there and to several stores and restaurants. Itโs easy to get in, and we stored our bags after checkout both times without any issues. โ
โAll the rooms are different but all are good-sized. Our room has double bathroom sinks, a large shower, a chaise lounge in addition to two armchairs. Very comfy. The breakfasts are excellent! Their so-called mini-continental is big enough to fill up most people: fresh baked muffin, croissant, fresh fruit, cheeses& meats, yogurt, juice, coffee. But you can also add eggs Benedict, omelette, shashuska, French toastโ all included!

โLovely guesthouse! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and the owner even dropped us down to the wine tram and helped us plan our day, so kind! Room was loovely and parking so convenient, all walkable to restaurants. We felt very safe . Would recommend this guesthouse to anyone staying in Franschhoek, it was absolutely perfect!โ
โLovely place w excellent service. Quiet and very beautiful in the midst of the vineyards. Our cottage was adorable and had a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen but most of all sweeping views over the valley and the vineyards. Would love to come back. Plus for the coffee at the Mill โ
โAmazing property! Rooms were extremely well prepared. Free bottle of wine and a cheese board upon arrival. Bottles water and a prepared log fire. Breakfast was freshly prepared and served in the terrace overlooking the gardens. I will be returning. โ
