โWe absolutely loved our stay at the Williamsburg Inn. Our room was as nice as any five star hotel we've ever stayed in! I even went back to the website to see if it was a 5-star hotel and I just didn't notice! Room and bathroom were large, tastefully decorated and updated with best of everything. My only complaint would be that they didn't have any tv options except for cable -- we would have liked to be able to stream a movie.โ
โThe villa itself was great but the room wasnt as clean as I expect it to be. The amenities were good, the parking was east however the pool behind registration was growing what appeared to be black mold in the 2.5 ft end and it was gross. We found this to be unacceptable especially since we watched as a staff member checked the ph and totally ignored the overwhelming growth on the pool steps, sidewalls and under the edges. โ
โWe loved the resort itself. My only issue was checking in. It felt like there was a bouncer on the door, firstly to ask you why you are there before he allows you entry, and secondly to make sure you don't leave without getting a 'welcome' pack' which is part of an upsell to get you to sit through a sales pitch the next day. 4 people were at their desks for the upsell so its full on. โMy stay here was great! I was alone visiting my boyfriend, and it was easy for me to go pick him up and come back whenever I needed. The room was pretty clean, but it wasn't "perfection." There was some dust buildup and crumbs under the bed and behind the table. I only noticed because I dropped some things and saw it all when I went to retrieve my items.
