"The photos are accurate. The place is very clean and updated. The beds were comfortable. The parking spot fit a Toyota Noah van with maneuvering. Our family of 4 would come back. Two block walk from the river if you wanted a morning walk or jog along it. FYI the flight of stairs to living quarters is steep, narrow and approximately 20. You will need to be able to carry your suitcases up, especially difficult if large and heavy."

"For a short stay (1-3 nights), it's a good deal (room vs price) but limited service. No batteries in the TV remote control and no power button on the TV so I've contacted the hotel through Expedia. They don't seem to be physically in the area since they sometimes answered a few hours later and they need to ask someone to come on-site. "Delicious traditional Japanese breakfast. Friendly staff, very kind and attentive. Lovely communal living area with cozy fireplace. The snowmobile and ice fishing tours are unique winter experiences. Great value for money all around!"
