We had a great stay at the Armada. It's authentically Turkish (as compared to staying in an American-chain hotel). Super close to the top old town sights, Arasta Bazaar (much more manageable than the Grand Bazaar), restaurants and Sea of Marmara. Amazing breakfast spread and top floor views of the water and mosques.

Modern and clean rooms. Nice location. A local coffee chain attached to the hotel lobby served by a friendly barista! Shame there isn't much by way of food on site though.. a bit odd to have to walk through narrow back streets to get to the annex building where the restaurant is.
