Owner Chantal (half Sicilian / half Swiss) & family rightfully pride themselves on this great lofty viewpoint, the care they put into guest service, well equipped cool bedrooms & breakfast produce either grown on their own land or sourced nearby. We found their local knowledge & tips more helpful than guidebooks. Top tips: book the popular masseur early & ask about the day boat trip (150hp open rib) which speeds you from 15 minutes away to the astonishing, relatively unknown Vulcano & Lipari islands, where 2 stops make for the perfect value day out! Highly recommended hospitality makes ‘Just Be’ particularly memorable - a real gem from where enjoy beautiful hilly drives to also reach tourist hotspots Taormina & Etna"

"Beautifully located, spectacular scenery amongst the slopes of Etna and the vineyards. Property is well hidden, you wouldn't know it is there unless you are specifically looking for it. Property is well maintained and their respect for the environment and minimal impact is evident. The staff were wonderful with our check in, escorting us to our room. The pool is lovely, elevated and surrounded by vineyards. Our room was perfect, situated in one of the bungalows. All furnishings and amenities in the room were excellent. We took advantage of the winery tour and tasting and dinner. Our guide was great, very knowledgeable about the winery itself and the wine world in general. Our dinner was delicious....highly recommend the tasting/dinner combo. The staff was very accommodating on our check out date, as we had an Etna trek/tour planned, holding on to our luggage and letting us leave our vehicle there while we were away on our tour for several hours. Looking forward to returning some day, either here or on of the other Filiato properties. "

"I really loved Castiglione di Sicilia - the town is perched on top of a crest of mountain and looks amazing as you are driving in. This seemed like quite a small town with lots of older folk in their older fiats and renaults, or sitting on street corners for a coffee or drink. Cento Tari Guest House was lovely - very well presented, and cosy and the hosts were lovely at checkin and at breakfast. There are some very very nice restaurants in town, an recommendations were made at checkin for these. Super helpful team as well when I had questions about wine tour recommendations for the area. Would highly recommend a stop off in this town, and would equally recommend Cento Tari Guest House. I would part at the outskirts of town and walk in as the streets are narrow and parking (as often in Italy!) is a challenge."

"This winery-accommodation was simply magical. We had a friendly check in. After dinner, we returned to have a wine tasting. We bought some wine and sipped it by the pool as we watched the sunset. In the morning, we watched the sunrise over the vineyard. It was breath taking! Excellent service and experience. "

"The residence itself was fantastic. We could not fault the apartment or the swimming pool area which was great - the pool was a good size and everything was very clean. Two negatives - firstly if you could move it about 2km towards the town of Sant’Agata di Militello then you could easily reach the bars and restaurants. Whilst the distance isn’t huge, there isn’t a path on the road to walk to the town. Secondly - they make you wear a silly swimming hat! I can’t believe they have put in a new pool and the pumps and filters can’t cope with a few hairs!"
