Galway, County Galway hotel rooms at the PREM Group Ireland

"After a long and stressful day of travel, partner and I checked into the hotel and was aiming to relax. However, the shower was piping hot and almost scalded. After trying to turn down the temperature which made no difference we had to carry on with out night as we had dinner reservations in Galway. On the way to our waiting taxi I explained to the receptionist who said she would remotely reset the temperature of the shower. On check out morning we attempted to use the shower again but it was still way too hot, above any health and safety regulations. My partner was on her monthly cycle and really needed a shower but this never happened. So on check out I explained to the receptionist who was more concerned with handing over to the incoming shift. I explained again to the incoming receptionist who was the same member of staff I had previously mentioned the situation to the night before. She then said she would put the room out of action. I feel we were not treated with dignity and or respect. Awful service."

"Excellent hotel right in the center of Galway. A little pricey and room was too far from the reception but amenities were excellent and breakfast was very good."

"Very nice place to stay. Coffee shop downstairs is good but they seemed understaffed for how busy the morning rush was. Walls were a bit thin."

"Great location! We were able to walk the city so easily! The rooms were small, but we knew that going into the reservation. The beds were comfortable and they had water for us in the fridge which was very thoughtful. We only ate breakfast once down in the restaurant and they had a lot to offer! The bar /coffee shop/restaurant vibe is super cool. The only complaint I have is that the day we arrived, the elevator stoped working, so every time we needed to go back to our room, it was a three floor walk up. Luckily my husband and I are able bodied to do so, but I can imagine older people might have struggled with it. Overall, this is a great hotel near pubs, restaurants, the bus/train station and the square. We would stay again for sure."

"Staff helpful. Room a bit on the small side for what we paid. Bathroom could do with modernising. Room quite warm but fan available."
