'Being there truly reconnects you to the ancient historical times and a walk around the temple is recommended for one-of-a-kind glimpses of the Armenian wilderness and countryside.'
A Greco-Roman temple in Armenia? Absolutely. I recommend visiting it with Envoy Tours or taking a taxi from Yerevan. There are also some nearby Roman Baths from the 3rd century.
Garni Temple, about 30 minutes from Yerevan, is a popular day trip. The original temple, built in the 1st century AD, was destroyed by earthquake in 1679. It was reconstructed between in 1969 and 1975 by the Soviet Armenia Government. You can get here by public transport or taxi.
