A wonderful boutique hotel in the ❤️ of Geel

Just an incredible place to stay. Beautiful, comfortable, well appointed rooms. Very difficult to leave, as the service and staff meet or exceed every need. I can’t speak more highly of how thoughtful Sandra and the staff have been during our visit. The restaurant for breakfast is wonderful! Eggs, meats/cheeses, fresh bread, fresh fruit, pastries! You name it, they likely have it.

Incredible B&B

Myself and my friend were attending a wedding in Geel so we booked Roosendaelhof B&B for 2 night. Kathleen and the team were so friendly, inviting and could not do enough for us. The hotel is gorgeous, modern and spotlessly clean. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed. Kathleen even gave us a lift to the wedding as we could not get a taxi which was very kind of her. They even have bikes which you can use free of charge. The breakfast provided as part of your stay was so good and cooked to perfection. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Geel area book here as you will definitely not regret it! Thank you so much for an incredible stay and looking after us.

Noisy due to renovation

Unfortunately we were not informed that the property is currently being renovated. This meant it was very noisy. Our room was quite dark with limited lighting and low power light bulbs. Breakfast was basic Due to the proximity to stagnant water there was a lot of mosquito's, my wife suffered from 12 bites

Mooi charme hotel met een prachtige ligging!

Prachtig gelegen hotel in het stadspark met zicht op de vijvers, heel goed ontbijt. We hadden bovendien een heel mooie kamer met goede bedden en groot ligbad voor 2 met balkon dat uitgaf over het stadspark! Ook zeer vriendelijke bediening en ontvangst. Een aanrader

Na een dagje sauna een heerlijke nachtrust gehad in een fijne kamer. De volgende morgen dit afgemaakt met een heel lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Vriendelijk ontvangen en uitgezwaaid. Wij komen hier zeker terug!

Mange mangler / not very good

Værelset var ret småt og ret slidt. Hårtørren faldt ud af vægen og ledningerne hang frit, jeg var lidt bange for at få stød. Sengen blev ikke redt, der kom ikke nye håndklæder, sæben var tom. Der var noget sort på lagnerne, lignede olie? Vinduerne lukkede ikke ordentligt , så jeg var i tvivl om de kunne skubbes op ude fra. Der var en meget kraftig kunstig dunst af roser, fra noget olie, som gav hovedpine - det kunne ikke dunste af selvom der blev luftet ud. Brokken hairdryer, dirty shits , broken windows that could not close properly,heavy aromatic artificial sent of roses, that gave headaches, Ed’s not made, no new towels. Breakfast vas fine and friendly staff

Wij hebben hier geslapen met onze honden. Het is een speciaal bijgebouw voor mensen met huisdieren wat eigenlijk een super constructie is! De kamer was super schoon, netjes en heerlijk bed en bad! Lekker ontbijtje in de ochtend! We willen graag aan Kathleen laten weten dat onze whippet de Belgian Cup 2022 heeft gewonnen! We hopen hier volgend jaar weer een aantal keer te kunnen overnachten!

vriendelijk ontvangst. Maar helaas niet proper. Wc papier in wc toen ik aankwam. Spinnenwebben onder bureau en in de hoeken van de kamer. Oppervlakkige poetsdienst lijkt me. Jammer, want wel mooie locatie.

Unusual with character

I've stayed here may times. It's is an unusual hotel with lots of character, especially in the main building where all the rooms are different each with their own unique character. The rooms in the Annex are not so good though they generals have good bathrooms. Breakfast is patchy. Not so good on my last visit with no fresh bread at breakfast, normally it's better. If you're looking for character this is the place to stay but ask for a room in the main building

Almost really good...but...

At first sight, the hotel looks great..when taking a closer look, everything is "almost great"..just "not there yet"....With a minimum of effort this could be a top location..now it's just an average but ok location...great deco and setting, but finish is poor..great breakfast, but ugly "work in progress" on the airco mount in the breakfast room... spacious rooms, but un-detailed paint job, and careless mounting of the lighting,..etc...all minor details , but that make the difference...
