“We specifically booked a room relying on Expedia pictures that the room is not to have a pitched roof, we paid more money for a non-pitched roof right on top of the bed. The accommodation hotel said he blocked Expedia from selling the room with the non-pitched roof picture. Who is lying here, we don’t know but we strongly feel we have been cheated here. The accommodation not only does not have elevator, the staircase is narrow and steep which made it difficult and kind of dangerous bringing...

“Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!”
