"It was simple, clean and everything we expected from a “micro” hotel. Nice rooftop bar, great pizza from “&pizza”. The hotel is close to metro, which was to only way we traveled. The metro took us everywhere we wanted to visit; it is very easy to navigate. I highly recommend Hotel Hive"

"The staff was lovely and the neighborhood is exceptional, but the property needs a major refresh. The room was very tired.... yellowed bathroom tiles, outdated heating/cooling system and 90's decor. Fresh paint would go a long way. "

"My stay was amazing from check in to check o it. Staff was extremely professional, helpful, and hospitable. The hotel was extremely clean and well stocked woth refreshing spa water available in the lobby. The area was beautiful and grounds were maintained well. There’s a Walgreens directly next door if you need anything during your stay and many local eateries. The pool was clean and stocked with clean towels. I had an amazing stay and will be coming back soon."

"Check in/check out went smoothly. Front desk staff was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Asia checked me in and my experience with her was very pleasant and helpful. The parking fee provided a secure environment and in/out at all times. The hotel renovations are very nicely done and appealing. My room was comfortable and hot water, for a change. The in room digital safe was an added bonus (my iPad fit inside). Great location to walk to restaurants, nightclubs, and shops. I will stay at Washington Plaza Hotel again on my next trip to DC. WPH, I wish this hotel would add a Starbucks!!! You got your ears on? lol."

"This hotel is made up of 2 buildings that look exactly alike inside, but different room numbers. We got turned around the first night and went to the wrong building after dinner. We were confused. We returned to the front desk and got it figured out. The staff was very nice but not very forthcoming with information. We had to ask where the restaurant was. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great."

"A very average 4* hotel, that's right - 4*!!! Their style of hospitality explains for instance - the two capsules of coffee, lol!!! Share some with them while visiting this spot, please!"
