" The hotel is decent and one block from the Stadtmitte station. The personnel… that is a completely different story! Very unfriendly and sometimes rude. Here are some examples: I arrived at 2pm and asked if there was a chance to check in a bit earlier. The answer was: check in is at 3pm, come back later. There is a better way to say things to people who have been traveling for 17 straight hrs to reach Berlin and chose your hotel out of hundreds available! They didn’t even offer to hold my luggage for that hr so I could take a walk. I had to ask for it. The night before check out, I wanted to make sure I paid my bill since I would have left very early the next morning. While I was speaking with the young gentleman at the front desk, he was sharing something on his phone with his colleague, they were looking at the phone and talking in German between themselves. The next morning, at 4 am, I came down to the lobby with my luggage and put my key on the desk since no one was there. After a few minutes the same young gentleman from the night before showed up in the lobby then quickly went out to smoke. He didn’t bother telling me that the revolving door was blocked, even though so he saw me getting into it. When I came out from the side door, he was still smoking and I asked him why he didn’t tell me not to use it. Guys, you really need to invest more in your personnel …I have never seen this kind of rude and unprofessional service at a hotel. I interacted with 4 different front de"

"Zero complaints, the hotel staff was courteous, room was quiet and the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Would stay there again 10/10"

"Lovely hotel, surroundings, breakfast, and very quiet and comfortable rooms. However, the spa area has unusal times in the week opening only from 12.30pm, which means you can’t get a sauna/steam after a morning work out. The housekeeping staff also need some re-training as somebody came in twice and then knocked twice more despite having the do-not-disturb sign on. And this was on the day of check out."

"Terribly old hotel, was put in the residence which is extremely dated and extremely far from the reception and faces an internal courtyard with no light. Curtains didn’t close and AC didn’t work. They have a cassette player "

"Great hotel. Friendly staff. Wonderful food. Ideal central location with Alexanderplatz station only minutes away, but the hotel is very dated, thin walls meant I could hear everything being said in the next room which didn’t help when they had a screaming child. The hotel also has a room cleaning request button (in the bathroom) that you must press before 11am to get the room serviced for the next day. I pressed the button twice during my stay and my room wasn’t serviced. "
