Wear good walking shoes as all the streets are cobblestone. All of the main attractions are on the hill. some can be quite steep. Get lost as often as you can. Wander the streets in the early morning before the tourists groups arrive. Most cafes open at 9am. Leave your Spanish / Catalan books at home ...everyone in the town of Girona speaks a little English. Make Barri Vell, Girona your home base. Try the Argentinian "El Carrito" and dine like a local. No frills just great steak . Get lost in Girona !!!

Our dinner at the restaurant, Nu, was especially great as was our visit to the Jewish Museum.
