“This is an exceptional property, beautifully restored from a sprawling 17th century Catalan farmhouse. The couple that run it are very engaging and helpful and the food, prepared by the husband, is simply outstanding. It is very much in the country and a great place to relax and disconnect, which was what we wanted from the experience. If you want a more urban experience, this is not the place for you, but we just loved it. It was stunning.”

Our hosts were attentive at all times and said many often to let them know if we needed anything, or wanted the dinner menu tweaked in any way. “The hotel itself was good, clean and kind. But I stayed a night before taking air flight at Gerona airport. I use 50 Euro for round tri taxi fee, which is almost air flight fee taking lower price air line from Germany to Spain, Barcelona. Location was far from air port, it took 30 min, and 25Euro by taxi one way.”
