Great hotel, close to main attractions of Glasgow. Room was large and very clean, with a nice view of the riverside. Great breakfast. One issue that the hotel could improve is acess to lifts: there are a few stairs up and down and you have to go through the bar to finally reach the lifts…

The restaurant staff are wonderful. Millena, Fraser and all the others were so friendly and helpful. The front desk staff on the other hand were unfriendly!! It would have been nice to have 2 chairs in the room. The rooms had no storage or luggage racks. Would not stay here again.

This was a wonderful hotel. I would definitely recommend splurging and getting an executive suite because the view of the River Clyde is phenomenal. The hotel was clean and close to so many things. The food around here is delicious. The staff were prompt with any inquiries. We really enjoyed our time. An additional perk is that it is only a 15 min ride to the airport as well.

On arrival after 3pm check in time, our rooms were still getting cleaned and we had to wait which wasthe biggest deal in the world but still, should have been ready. Any staff i interacted with were very friendly and helpful. Rooms had an awesome view over the river and city. Breakfast was a let down , the female told us just to go and help ourselves but the male told other guests they could request fried or poached eggs which we would have liked but already half way through Breakfast before i heard this. Quality wasn't as good as the Premier Inn, Leith which we stayed in the night before, but overall a pleasant stay.

Comfortable room in a good location. Most of the staff were great. But! An older woman employee at reception insisted that credit card authorization could only be used for room service, which was weird and wrong. Then she screwed up the authorization, which I had to sort out when I checked out very early in the morning and was rushing to the airport. Also, the hotel entrance was not ADA / wheelchair accessible due to stairs and staff didn't/wouldn't help get my luggage up to hotel/down to street level.

Overall it was a great experience, everything was so clean especially the toilet. Just one thing that displeased us, it was quite noisy at both nights, people opened their door and chat very loudly at night, apparently there were group(s) that stayed next to us, pretty bad sound proof wall. Other than that we are glad to stay in such a beautiful hotel especially their bar area with the historical walls and modern decoration.

For the most part everything was fine. But we didnt get a decent nights sleep for the whole week we were there, because the air conditioning kept shutting itself off every few hours. So, every few hours we'd wake up and have to turn it back on. I don't think it was broken, as we asked to have it looked at twice. It seems like maybe this was some kind of energy saving feature. And it sure saved us from having energy, we were exhausted the whole trip as a result.

It was an amazing hotel, lovely, friendly and with a very clean bathroom, always a bonus! The only thing was the vegetarian options were overly priced with not much of serving given.

Despite booking the Clayton at 12 on the day of our stay; we arrived at the entrance to be denied entry. There was a burst pipe and the hotel was closed. Thankfully the staff had arranged for us to go into the Leonardo hotel a short distance away.

We had a wonderful time and what a great location! We loved the breakfast buffet and the staff at the breakfast are all so nice and professional! We got made to order eggs and had the best coffee. We would come back in a heartbeat!
