"The hotel is part of the service area on the A1 but, unlike most such hotels, it offers good food as well as comfortable accommodation. We were impressed with the welcome we received - and our dog was happy with the positive attention he received! The chap on reception was able to recommend a good parking spot in Bamburgh, where we were keen to take the dog for a long walk! All in all, a good place to stop!"

"The staff were good, we arrived and had two occasions to see staff about things and they were done immediately. Hot tub was cool when we arrived that was abit disappointing, breakfast was a little cold and subpar. Dinner was really nice though, fish and chips were delightful."
