Did the job if a little out the way

Philip on reception was great. House was fine, quite basic and smelled a little musty. Had everything I needed though. Kitchen kitted out and a hot powerful shower. Bit of a pain to get taxis to and from coast area every day so factor that into cost comparison.

The location was perfect. The guy at reception was great. Wifi was bad. The bed and pillows needed updating. It was hard and uncomfortable. Could be a great place if it had a makeover and the grounds had a bit of a tidy up. The other villas might’ve been different. The pool area and surrounds looked nice. Would’ve expected a little more for the price. They need to put a folder in the place that gives you basic information like you would get anywhere else.

Royal Woods was a perfect spot if you want to slightly further away from the busy tourist strip. Very clean with full cooking facilities suited our needs really well to relax for a few days whilst travelling up north.

Words can not comprehend how low this joint was iv stayed in better backpackers. Claims it’s a resort …. This is horribly wrong on so many levels. This is a Motel not a resort !!!! Overpriced absolute dive NEVER AGAIN. The bed could have been a rock as iv slept on better floors. I think iv said enough that other don’t fall into this trap!!!

Loved everything but woke up itchy the next morning. Not sure, but husband said he was fine. I fell asleep on the couch on our second and last night anyway, so couldn't say it was definitely the bed.

The resort is lovely, old but nice. Checkin took way to long but got there in the end. 1 bedroom spa room with balcony. On arrival no balcony, ground floor. Had washing machine and dryer in garage but no power to them, and couldn’t find the fuse box. Black ants going up the wall and into the ceiling. Spa in ensuite lovely but no exhaust fan. Breakfast was left in room- a lovely touch. This resort would be an ideal meeting place for large families to holiday and catch up. Massive pools, lap pool, proper steam room amazing. Young children’s pool aswell
