"Overall a good hotel. Nice staff, clean rooms, lots of parking spaces available, and only a short drive from downtown Reykjavik. Know that early check-in will very likely not be accommodated. Also the walls are very thin so if you’re bothered by loud snoring or neighbouring rooms being loud until late at night, bring *good* earplugs."

"Amazing location, right by Main Street. So many restaurants and shops. Room spacious, with dishes and kitchen, breakfast was diverse. Drains in bathrooms smelled like rotting organic matter, need cleaning. Would stay here again. "

"This property was a highlight of our trip. Amazing little cottages in Alftanes, about 20 min from downtown REK. But we had no need to go downtown the night we stayed here. Unfortunately the restaurant is only open from Thursday thru the weekend. We stayed on a WED night. But we found options within 10 min drive. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! "
