I realize that we are there off season, but I chose this hotel because of it being a resort, and expected to stay somewhere nice. Especially when my main request was that it have a restaurant. It did not...and a 14KM drive to the nearest one. There was issues with the room as well...and it needs attention. The door handle was not working properly and it took several attempts to leave the room. The coffee maker was dirty(burnt coffee stuck to the bottom) and the Patio door screen did not close....nothing that was a game changer, but you can tell it is not getting looked after properly. We were also charged a resort fee???? In what way was this a resort...with no restaurant or ammenties. It was just a hotel. Overall will not go back...even if skiing

It’s about 10s away from the Main Street, hotel itself is decent for a few days stay but god the mosquitoes are killers there. Didn’t realize it was so bad. Make sure you carry loads of sprays

Nice location being up by the ski hill we had great views of the valley. Our room was clean and comfortable. Overall it is good value for the price particularly when compared to other hotels in the area.

This property provides beautiful unique views, but is a bit remote. Not super convenient location. The room had no air conditioning and it was uncomfortably HOT! However, the restaurant on site was amazing, the room was very nice and the property provided a great little getaway.

This property is very good even if it’s far from downtown. Quiet, good place to relax. Great value for the amazing view.

Booking was an absolute nightmare. Receptionist was very rude and condescending. We asked simple questions… the Sauna was out of service. Had to book a time to use the hot tub. Parking was a block away unless you paid for parking underground.

Loved this place and we had a great view of Kicking Horse Ski Resort from our balcony. Close to Golden golf course too. The staff were very friendly and most helpful. The only thing that we did not know is the restaurants aren’t open every day. Had we known this we would have brought some extra food with us.

This place is way off the beaten path, road is paved, free parking lot is not. Room had no ac but 2 fans (pathetic really for the 400 a night) Bottom line is…..the entire concept of this place revolves around ski season, in the “off season” you get no a/c, no restaurants that are open and front desk staff that act like your interrupting them from something important…..when you’re the only patron to be seen.

no A/C which i didn't noticed while booking. Room was like hot-oven, put our morale down. staff didn't our room towards shady side of hotel but given xtra fan. The building is old and looks more dark because of low lighting. Bed was comfortable. kitchen utensils were useable and covenient.

Will be awesome to get the chance to see boo! Comfortable and quiet accomodations. Shower had some extra hair in it that was not ours and old facility so leaks more onto the floor. Other than that pleasant stay. Overall average mountain accomodations.

Great place to unwind. Don’t let the fact that there’s no air conditioning since you are in the mountains and it cools off. Do bring bug spray cause the mosquitoes can get pretty nasty early evening. Overall 10/10

Room was dusty and old. My room was very tiny with only one outlet and the people we traveled with all had different room layouts so some were better than others, even though they're all supposed to be the same.

We were there for a wedding. Once checked in, I was shocked on how tiny the room was. When we were relaxing in the room, the TV service was absolutely horrible and not user friendly as wanted to watch current live shows but we were watching older shows. We ate at the Jeffery room, and it was amazing. Also on the property we are able to buy a few gifts at the nice gift shop, and enjoyed drinks at the brewery. My two complaints first, which is out of the hotels control, the mosquitos were absolutely horrible. Second, is the hotel is fairly well updated outside and some updates inside, they really should invest in mini split heat/cooling pumps for their rooms. A loud floor fan and a single screen door was just not enough to cool the rooms down Just wanted to point out that I really appreciated the chair lift crew who accommodated the wedding guest by stopping the chair or slowing it down, greeting guest as we walked up to the chair. The ceremony spot was set up beautifully. Great work.

The building seemed dated and a bit run down. Each time we interacted with guest services there was some sort of hiccup whether it was with the staff or the hotel’s software. Overall staff seemed friendly and tried to be helpful, but we found the hotel to be noisy and it need of some TLC.

Spacious rooms with a comfy king size bed. That’s probably the nicest things I can say. For a resort that is open in summer having no aircon in the rooms is a big no no. Sure they’ve provided a mosquito net around the door so you can have the room cool down naturally but then you get to hear the joyous chorus of children screaming and intoxicated patrons from the bar on the ground floor for hours while you try to sleep. The bed also has this gigantic frame that sticks out about 30cm from the mattress so getting in and out can leave you with bruises. The resort could also do with a facelift. Carpet around the place was worn and the walls could do with a fresh coat of paint. No communal laundry for guests is also a let down unless you can afford a suite where a washing machine is provided. Food options in the resort are also rather limited Monday-Wednesday. Everything is shut on a Tuesday while one restaurant or bar is open on the Monday/Wednesday. There’s also only one very slow elevator in the building so I hope you like using the stairs!
